Babul’s Foundation

Food has always been at the heart of Babul’s, but we believe it should be about more than what’s on the plate.

That’s why we created Babul’s Foundation, our way of giving back to the community that has supported us for three decades.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, when so many in our community were struggling, Babul’s Foundation provided thousands of free meals to schoolchildren, vulnerable adults and frontline emergency workers. It was a small act of care in a time of great need, and a reminder that food can nourish the soul as much as the body.

Every Christmas Day, while most doors are closed, ours stay open. Through Babul’s Foundation, we welcome those experiencing homelessness or loneliness, offering a hot meal, a warm place to shelter, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten.

Babul’s Foundation is built on the belief that restaurants should give more than they take. It is about sharing what we have, listening to our community, and creating moments of connection that go far beyond the dining table.

Because at Babul’s, food is more than flavour. Babul’s Foundation makes sure it is also kindness, comfort and community.
